Project LEAP has raised several hundred thousand dollars for Lee Elementary School since its inception. After four years with the same theme, it was decided that it was time to bring new life into the auction and the LEAP to Excellence Auction became Viva Lee Vegas! Project LEAP also sponsors smaller fundraisers like Coldstone Creamery Ice Cream Night where the teachers and staff scoop and sing for the students and parents. Project LEAP also sponsors the Lee Legacy Tile Wall and Lunch for Special Person's Day.

For the first four years of the auction, the LEAP to Excellence Auction was themed the Lee Luau! Parents, teachers and staff get an opportunity to enjoy themselves in an informal fun setting, benefiting the children of Lee Elementary
Lee parents surprised both Project LEAP and the National Headquarters for California Pizza Kitchen when it broke both attendance and fundraising records for the California Pizza Kitchen Night.
